Has there ever been any talk of smaller Triumph Bikes. With gas prices the way they are, and all the new riders, and more people on motorcycles.

Yes, but that person was immediately beaten severely and shunned by the locals.

Besides, nobody knows what size jets to install after beating out the baffles.

On the factory tour in 07 the question was asked if Triumph was going to bring out a small capicity bike. The answer was No as it costs much the same to assemble a small bike as a large bike and so the price they would have to charge would not be competitive with Japanese price for a small bike. so they are leaving the small bikes to the experts.

Which is probably just as well. The threads about the new mid size Triumph went on and on and on and on and on.
I dont even want to think how we would deal with the mystery Triumph 'Little' bike. Water cooled or air cooled, 2 cylinder or 3, or 1 (?) belt or chain or shaft, spoke wheels or cast, 18 inch or 8 Red or Black...oh deffinately RED!

Word is an inflatable Triumph scooter will come packed in the hard bags of the next Rocket III tourer. That way you can leave the Rocket at the edge of town and ride the scooter around.

That is actually a workable idea, some of those little folding scooters might just fit.

The Dog is on to something there... That would be pretty cool at a rally, pull up, stable the beast and then whip out the trusty little scoot to poke around on!
'06 TBA - Black, AI and Snorkel removed, K&N Drop In, Gutted Stock Pipes, 145/42, 2 turns out.

One of the guys in our RAT pack usually has his pocket bike strapped on the luggage rack of his R3. Pretty funny!

I'm not certain enough to actually bet my life on it, but I believe that Triumph actually made a scooter at one point and it was named 'Princess.' I don't recall if it was ever a success on the market, and I certainly wouldn't consider riding ANYTHING named 'Princess' unless, of course, it was a real Princess... You know what I mean...

I was wrong. It was the Tigress and the Tina, but they did actually make scooters at one point.
