Wait a minute Mikey! Let me ask you a question here: As a Triumph motorcycle owner, aren't you ALREADY just a LITTLE tired of that "When did they start making those again questions" you get all the time out there???!!! (yeah...I guess that "new" Indian is okay...however, I actually wish the folks throwin' money in that direction would have thrown it Kenny Dreer's way up in Oregon when he was just about to begin production on that new Norton o' his...now THAT was a REAL beauty!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

"What we're looking for, and demanding, is dealers willing to build an exclusively Indian business for the long term." Good luck. Except for HD, can any single brand really stand on it's own? Most successful dealers seem to be multi brand. Hey you can already get your Indian Lifestyle ...... "Introducing America's First Premium Motorcycle Gift Collection". Guess they have never been to a HD dealer or opened a triumph catalog.

I'm realy not up to date on the Indian saga. But how many attempts does this make to revive the dead..er I mean brand.
And was my computer crashing when I tried to view the page,An omen of the future of this try?
The percentage you're paying is too high-priced

Good catch, Jackson. My computer was, and still is(now that I've come back to this thread) gettin' that "script error" response when I go to that "new" Indian website! That doesn't seem to me to be a very good "omen" indeed.
And folks...the reason I put quotation marks on that "new" Indian up there is...well, let me ask a question of you guys here: Do you guys see any difference between this "new" Indian PowerPlus, and that "old" Gilroy CA-built PowerPlus???
I certainly don't. And if they couldn't make a go of it before, then why would folks think they could make a go of it now???

Stellican got Black Hawk motors and that other great Power Plus rebuilder to spec the new engine for them so I'm betting they got the bugs out of the Gilroy design. If they can resurrect Chris Craft they've got a good chance at getting Indian back on it's wheels.
