I ordered this trunk and wrap-around backrest during lunchtime today. I should have asked here first, but I had been looking for a wrap-around comfortable backrest for my wife, saw this and ordered it. Does anybody know anything about these?

Nope - but looks interesting. Post some pics when you get it installed.

It probably won't be a bolt on fit but if you are a creative thinker you could probably get it to fit. I've never heard anyone on here talk about doing that yet.
keep us posted...my wife wants a lounger on back but I'm not about to buy one of those bikes.

I don't know anything specific about that particular trunk, but let us know how you make out with mounting it.
You need the rear luggage rack to mount it on. The rear rack requires the sissybar to mount it. Otherwise, you will need to fabricate some sort of spacer. I have found that the rear rack is too short and too narrow to mount any trunk large enough to be worthwhile. Plus, the mounting systems tend to be cheap and ugly. I don't know that I'd want to "lean" on it...
Some fabrication may be required.

The instructions that came with my Triumph backrest/luggage rack specify a weight limit of 6 lbs. The Harley trunk empty probably weighs three or four times that. I've owned a Harley dresser in the past, and it used more than the fender struts to hold the trunk. If you do this, you'll almost certainly have to make additional brackets to support the weight.

I was looking at the Mutazu hard bags. All the reading I did around the internet suggested that people both love and completely hate the mutazu line because of the construction material. The price is definately right.

2007 Custom America with BUBs I make my own parts cause I cant afford to buy theirs.
