Question? I want to try and relocate the Tach to the handlebars, I want it to be same size as the speedo, does anyone know of a good match. Thunderbird Sport? Aftermarket?
Thanks
Wendell

Not sure of the size, but the Bonneville's might be a close size.

Oh yeah, hadn't thought of that one, also thought maybe the Legend.
I suppose I could try swapping both out, but then the mileage would be off. Have to check into that.
Thanks

I've been thinking of doing the same thing for awhile now, but haven't really had the time to research it. Our speedo's are pretty big, so they might have to be changed out too in order to get them the same size. Let me know what you find out.

I am leaning towards using the insterment cluster from a Bonniville T-100. I am trying to find someone parting out a bonnie, if not I will look into new. I need to find out if the speedometer will be plug and play though. I'm not sure if they are geared the same as ours. I will let you know what I find out.
Anyone know of someone parting out a bonnie?
Cheers Wendell

I saw a tricked out Bonneville at Barber last year, had the Drag Specialties mini tach and matching mini speedo (with idiot lights) side by side where the stock speedo goes. On my list of things to do. Only thing I'm worried about is the quality. My DS mini tach fogs up in wet weather. Something like Dakota Digital is not in my budget.

Yeah, that is what I am looking for, the whole Instrument panel from bike bandit is $834.00 I will keep an eye out on this, of course I will need to get a speedometer to match.

I am still trying to find out if this swap would be possible. Does anyone know if the Tachometer from the Bonnie T-100 is mechical or electronic? I imagine the Speedo is mechaniacl, hopefully it is geared the same as the Speedmasters speedo.
Thoughts?

Can't speak to the mechanical nature but if you have the oem service manual back when they were dual (bonneville & America) that would tell you. Also the speedo would be off as the front tires are different sizes.
