I just want to say "Thank You" to the people who have posted here regarding this subject. I have an '06 America and had installed a Summer Screen. That windshield is a POS unless you're 4'11" or so. This forum led me to Clearview and, OMG what a difference! Their 17" light gray screen is just exactly what I needed. It is installed and has been road tested. All of the extreme buffeting is gone and it's a pleasure to go for a ride now. Getting the rubber grommets secured in the holes was a bit tricky but, all-in-all, a quick install with excellent results. Thanks again to this forum and its members for providing me with the information that I needed to solve the proble,. And - the folks at Clearview were a pleasure to work with.

I have the 17" light gray on my bike and have been extremely happy with it for over for over 2 years. I worked with John (Clearview) on trying to get the right Summer Screen for the America on the market. The one they came up with the second time blew away the prototype I initially bought and returned. The America on their site is my bike (mulberry red/graphite). The best part is that it looks better on the bike than the original summer screen I wish I'd never bought. At least I could use the hardware. You right about one thing, the factory SS is only good for someone around 5'8" or less.

If anyone wants a perfect condition Triumph Summer Screen replacement, you know where to find me. Sorry, I'm keeping the hardware.
