by the way, pressing and holding the alt key, then type 167 gives you this º so you can do 270º.

To make ° on Apple computers you hold shift and alt(option) while hitting the number 8. Shift 8 is *, option 8 is •, and shift/option 8 is °.

This is the only place I've seen a relatively consistent supply of used 270° ignitors...always $289.00 and you have to check which of the two models of ignitor it is (790 or 865). http://stores.ebay.com/PinWall-Cycle-Par...6QQftidZ2QQtZkm

I'm gonna try Dinquas suggestion and see what happens. What sucks is that I had a spare one that I sold a while back for $150.00.
What's the difference between the 790 and 865 versions?

The new ones will not work on the older bikes! Dill went through this and we discovered that his 04(?) did not work with an 05 CDI but worked fine with the same year module.

Didn't work on my Dell laptop, but if I hold alt and hit enter, all my toolbars disappear.

I still wonder if there is a way to adapt the Yamaha TRX850 ignitor.  Any electronic geeks in the House?

Your almost right Pat but my was an 05 and it wouldn't work with their new on the floor one, I can't remember if it was a 06 or 07.

You can also press ALT and a series of numbers(on Windows pc's) ALT-0186 = º http://www.coloryourprofyle.com/phade/alt.htmlor cutnpaste also works - just find the character you want somewhere and copy then paste it €

Maybe this observation could shed some light on the issue regarding access to the extended character set:
On my HP I have to press ALT+ the character number on my numerical keyboard. But it does not work with the numbers above the 'QWERTY' keys!

You have to have the numbers lock in the on position.
Also Hasse is right you have to use the number key pad to the right not the ones above the letter keys.

Or you could just type "degree". Takes less time (especially if you touch-type).

Rev limit is higher on the 865 unit.
7900 vs. 7400, I think.

Looks exactly like the Pro Com unit I have for my Bonnie right down to the lettering. That would be for a 360° and not for a 270°...

Holding ctrl and shift keys pressing the greater than and less than keys (they look like < >) will change your font size in ms office, but not here. Just a couple of incompetent puter nerds showing off pretty worthless skill º's.
