Call me a purist , but digital ? Yuck . Stem wind or automatic , and at least , Swiss quartz .

600 for quartz watch?? they truly do deserve the title of "stealership" I got a catalogue from a place called "watchworld" they had several different Triumph watches, some under 100 bucks, and none over 200...which is still alot for a digital

ps just checked their site-prices do seem to have gone up on these, but some nice ones still available for 100 or less

Are any quartz watches really still made in Switzerland? I seem to remember reading an expose some time back that claimed all/most Swiss watches now use Chinese movements.

The term "Swiss watch" is a blanket statement for a Swiss company selling watches assembled in other countries , or a watch assembled in Switzerland from components made in other countries .
What you have to look for is the term "Swiss movement" .
