Thank you, it is a 2005. I will try and post some pics of what the bike looked like before.

Very nice man...You should look into getting rid of the sidecovers on that thing...it'd give it that barebones look youre leaning towards with the bonne tank.

Thanks, I think it would look better that way too. I plan on doing it next winter if time allows.

Love the standard bonnie tank. Any challenge to mounting that, over the factory America tank? Or is it a 1 for 1 replacement (besides the obvious with the dash and indicator lights).

2007 Custom America with BUBs I make my own parts cause I cant afford to buy theirs.

I like the look of the Bonnie tank, it gives the bike a slimmer look which is what I was going for. As far as the mods, I had to use a hammer on the back bottom of the tank to widen in out some. A little on the petcock side being careful not to damage the petcock holes and more on the oposite side just enough to fit. I also had to cut a 1/4 of an inch or so off of the mounting brackets on the frame.

Really nice looking bike. With the black bars, forks, wheel rims, and taped headers, I'd consider changing the cam cover to black to set the engine off from the tank. Definitely an individualistic bike!

Very nice looking bike, and I agree, maybe black cam cover. Welcome to the site!

Thanks for all of the possitive feedback. I am planning on doing the cam cover black and I was also considering doing the outer cases black as well.

Looks great! You don't have to wait that long to do the air filters. The entire job only takes about 3-4 hours with minimal tools, materials, and $. Go for it!

VERY NICE!!! Do you have any shots from the back or 3/4? Show off that skinny tank!

Well done.

Thanks everyone for all of the great feedback. I put up a new post with some more pics, even some before shots, when I first got the bike. Again, thanks for all the cool comments.

Thanks, the bars are 9 inch rise mini apes from J&P cycles. They come in chrome only, I sanded them down and sprayed them black.
