Not really sure bought the sintered pads for the America no problems but the America went through the first set of rears about 3000 miles the new set are still good after 5000 miles. Possibly the first 300 miles is the time it took me to get used to the bike. Not sure but try this mob on flea bay and compare prices not that great a difference. even counting postage http://stores.ebay.co.uk/J-B-Motorcycle-...6QQftidZ2QQtZkm

I know quite a few in the US have gone for EBC discs when they had the original warp on them, and also Dafydd (Dave) has an EBC disc fitted but if I recall he said it had warped

I replaced my original front disc at about 10,000 miles due to warpage. The EBC has lasted 27,000 miles so far without a repeat failure. I use the HH pads front and rear. I do 90% of my braking using the front only. The pads last about 12000 miles with hard use. I think they are definitely worth the money.

Just got pads and rotors from Mr. Fasteddy. Will let ya' know what I think when I am done. Believe I have done the EBC pads before. Better I would say. Don't know that I noticed a great difference. I did get the front floating rotor. I am thinking that is gonna make a big dif.

Thanks for all the info folks. Think I'll be getting me a set of these, including rotor. Next question, can anyone supply fitting instructions? Thanks again.

you can get away with reusing them, just make sure you put lochtite on when replacing them, I replaced mine on the america and reused them all. They can be a bit of a bugger to get out though. If you are ordering Colin, I would recomend Jack Lilly, usually next day delivery

Front floating EBC rotors and sintered EBC pads from Fast Eddy Sports - about 3 K miles on them so far and I love them. wore out the stock rotors at about 21,000 miles.
