Anybody run into this? When I apply the front brake on my '05 TBA the front end bounces. It's as if the pads are hitting a dry spot on the disc and pulling the front of the bike down then letting up then grabbing again etc. The bike rolls fine and I can't see anything bent on the front disc.

thanks in advance.

Welcome bobcat, I bet if you put a fixed scriber to the disc and spin the wheel it is out by a mile. there should be loads of threads if you search on warped discs.. Also check the front wheel and the bearings in the head as an after thought..

(time to see the dealer or replace it with an EBC)

I had this problem with my 07 speedmaster. One of my front rotors was warped....the dealer changed it and the problem was still there.

I asked the rejects from the dealership if they changed out the pads as well and they said yes. I then changed the front tire (convinced that it was bad when I bought the bike new....dry rot etc).....the bounce was still there and I went back to the dealer to raise ****** about it and they told me NO the pads where never changed and that Triumph wanted them to scuff up the pads because they believe the warped rotar had worn them uneven. Do ya think? LOL

I told them to screw and that I wanted new pads all around up front. it should have been done from the begining. I was out riding and had an emergency stop while riding 2 up.

Guess what! that panic stop caused the pads to wear JUST enough that the "bounce" is gone completely.

Mine was a warped rotor. Fairly common here. Went with a floating rotor
