From the Triumph site: "Also on sale is a higher specification Bonneville SE, which takes the standard Bonneville and adds a two-tone colour scheme, brushed alloy engine casings and additional instrumentation."
I'm very interested to findout how much "higher" the specs are for the new SE.

And what is meant by 'additonal instrumentation'. Does it mean they add a tach as standard.

My dealer has the new brochure. The SE also has alloy wheels.

The Bonneville se with all black is absolutely beautiful...I like the lower seat, black mag wheels, shorter fenders and the idea that it is FI along with larger wheels. It makes me go "wow" just like my speedmaster. I wonder if they'll make a green flamed tin set though?

I really like the T100 50th Anniversary edition. I like the SE, but feel the classics should stick with wire wheels.

There were several versions of the original Bonnie with mag wheels, why not?

Actually, I wasn't aware of that. I had a '70 Triumph and don't remember seeing ones back then or before with cast wheels.

HAHA.
None of those pics are labled. I'd @SS-U-ME that the red one is the SE but the article says it just available in blue/whit or black. So we still don't have a pic of the SE.

I guess I wasn't keeping up with later Triumphs after I sold mine in '73.

Gotta be honest. I like the blue and white more than the black.

I agree with you there. Saw a guy riding a black bonnie last year at the dealer with simular looking rims. Really looks good on the black bonnies too.
