Well after much deliberation about buying a new windsheild from Clearview in an attempt to end my wind buffeting problem, I've decided to try a less expensive option first. Saeng makes a rubber moulding that fits around the edge of your windsheild and they claim it will diffuse some of the blast that comes pouring around the edges of your windsheild. http://www.saeng.com/4000.htm My stock windsheild ( Triumph touring sheild ) works just fine under 60 mph . The MIcroswirl edging just slips on and off your windsheild and my thought is that I can just slip it on when I am going to ride it out of town. ( It's pretty ugly ) But if it works It will be a pretty cheap fix and I can keep my stock windsheild. I am still going to add some lowers though. I will let you know how it works. Anybody have any experiance with this? Do I want to know?

Yes. Tried it on the Roadster screen. Didn't make a lick of difference. Sent it back for a refund. Also sold the roadster screen.

I have it on the Pixie Hat fairing on my Speed Four & it does improve windblast in that application.
My SM has the Triumph fly screen & it simply isn't necessary as I get no buffeting or blast.

So um ..what holds it on?
The percentage you're paying is too high-priced
While you're living beyond all your means
And the man in the suit has just bought a new car
From the profit he's made on your dreams

Friction & clamp force from metal strip insert in the rubber. Hard to believe but it is true, & it works.

So BO2S4, have you used this product before or are you using it presently? By the way I really cheaped out and bought previously sold and returned edging. I'm trying this just as an experiment. Hey maybe I'll get Friar Johns old edging! The circle of life!

lowers are important and not too expensive. There is a definitive test for whether lowers are an answer for you. Ride at a speed where you're getting buffeting, then put your arm across your chest and see if that improves it - if so, lowers are the answer.
