sorry Karen I wont make this one...LMAO
Of course Im in...I wouldnt miss a chance to ride with my boo!

So...Karen suggested it but she has me looking into routes.

Heres a thought....
We meet up around Sammamish or wherever....take Issaquah Hobart Rd to 169 to 410 to 123 to 12 end up in Morton...for lunch.
Depart Morton via 7 to 161 up through Enumclaw back to where we started...dropping off as needed to get home.

Another option is to meet up in Snohomish and head north on 9 around Mt Baker. SR 9 to 530 to 20 and down 532.

So...options are there...now we need peeople to want to ride.
Karen is in, Im in.
Bob may be in.
Kirk?
Larry?
AndyM?
Dustin?
Mike?

Of course Celt, Soren and anyone else that wants to come on over....

Depending on the distance/time requirement I could be in. Might be hard to get the wife's approval to go to Oregon but I could try if that's the plan. Grabbing lunch somewhere sounds like fun though.

Well heck...if were going to meet a new person we might as well meet up for some breakfast.
How about Issaquah Cafe say 8:30am. I figure an hour max for food, we head out at 9:30ish...we arrive in Beaverton about 2pm. We can decide at breakfast if we might want to slab further to save time...anyway...Im excited...a new person to meet!

I better go wash my bike now

Worst case I may be able to show up for at least the breakfast part to say hello and help send you guys off onto the fun journey (at which point I'd return home to start/finish the honey-do list).

I am the first to be home(I think)..great ride and day..a little sprinkles on the way home but no need for gear change..I am going to develop a new riding technik for these 400+mile days..Andy showed me the "hump-back"seating position..perhaps 'Z" or Jhaggard will post demonstration photo shoot..pretty cool.Thank everyone for the hospitality(burgers, salad, cookies, pop, ice cream and music)..hitting shower and bed!!

That was a fun ride. The group was great! It was great to meet you Andy... I can't wait to see those pics up with you in your "superman" seating style on your bike. I have no idea how you do that going 70 on the freeway

Dustin, It was nice to have breakfast with you.. hope you can hang for the whole ride next time.

Bob and John - you guys are awesome.

Soren - it was nice to see you in Portland! Make sure to put the info on the Baker City Ride in August so we can plan for it.

I hope this group will ride again together soon! Maybe to Baker City???

Good lord, I start this thread and haven't been on here in a week! Would have loved to have gone but I had my bachelor party this weekend, and that was pretty crazy. The wedding is next Saturday, August 2nd. So I'm looking to get out this week for a ride at some point.

Z- Sorry for not getting back to you, I lost my cell phone and just got a new one yesterday and saw your message. Available this week for a ride?

Let me know! Looks like you all had a great ride.

Well let me just check in and say greetings from balmy Bahrain. It's after 10 PM and it's over 95 deg F (feels like 109 F)/ 35 deg C (feels like 43 C). At least I get to cool off in Adelaide, South Australia next week for most of August. While there, I'm going to be looking for a sheepskin seat cover for my next bike.

I hope you all keep riding safe. Don't skimp on the riding gear!! It's good to see John and Karen out there with the group as well.
