I have been contemplating additional changes for my America and the next planned change is to replace my stock handlebars and then do internal bar wiring. I have been going back and forth on different bars from Drag Bars to Ape Hangers. I recently discovered the Norman Hyde M-Bars and they look to be along the line that I want. I have realized that I want a lower, more forward bar setup (as opposed to ape hangers).

I see a photo on BellaCorse.com, but I am interested in both opinions of these bars as well as any other photos that anyone might have of these bars on an America.

Additionally, I am interested in any changes that you might have had to make in order to go with these bars...Cable Lengths, etc.

Has anyone mounted these as drop bars versus a slight rise?

Photos and opinions are greatly appreciated.

Steven

I liked them so well on the Bonnie that I put a set on the Speedmaster and love them. I think the cables will be a bit long on the America, but you can re-route and tuck them in. They make for a very comfortable ride. In fact, with these bars, you can probably get a set of Speedmaster risers for a more pulled back stance.

Thanks Brent...any chance you have any photos?

I was thinking the cables might be a bit long. I may just try the bars with the stock cables and then order some correct length stainless cables later. Do you handle any custom length cables?

Thanks,
Steven

Sorry, Buddy. No pics. I'll see if I can snap one for ya. I got my cables from Barnett. They do good work.
