Well I finally got my TBA to stop popping on decell, but it took turning my adj. screws out @ 3 3/4 turns. My plugs are still light gray so I was wondering if it was time to go to 45 pilots? A little more info I have a 05 TBA, T-Bike pipes, single uni filter, all snorkels removed, 132 main and 42 pilot jets, stock needles with 1 shim and Brent's pilot screws. Thanks

I would think so, then you'll be able to turn those mix screws back in.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Herm Albright (1876 - 1944)

+1 Went through the same thing. With the 45 pilots your screws will probably end up alost half the turns out. Some decel popping is normal, if you turn the screws out to where it stops completely, you probably turned to far. With the thumb screws it's very easy to check turning them back a 1/4 turn or so.

I also noticed by going up to a 45 that my idle smoothed out (especially after I balanced the carbs again) and my starting became easier.
