Hello everyone!

I would like ask You about noise that worry me. My bike is americe 2008 model with 1800 miles just passed.

I get strange noise from left site of engine, usually when i pull in clutch on neutral.i can hear 3 kind of sound then : first is value clicking, second is engine noise and last is one i am worry about. Is hard to describe this but is not regular, came from clutch site, little wooby. I took my bike to dealer twice - first time they said they compared my bike with demo bike and sound similar, second time i heard that is normal for triumph bikes and i should not worry about this - they said this is normal clutch discs working sound. Is somebody expierience addional noise from this part of engine?

also - switching between 1 and 2 gear is quite lound - is this also common for america?

i know that talking about noises is hard task but i You can share Your expierience about america and noises i will be very greatfull.soon i will be do my first long trip (1100km) and want avoid and problems.

Thanks for advises.

does it sound similiar to a helicopter? I had the same noise. I changed out the clutch springs and changed to fully synthetic oil and the noise is pretty much gone. I belive it's not worth the trouble of installing the clutch springs unless you know what you are doing....make sure the dealer fully records your concern in case there is an issue later but you should be all set.

The noise will subside after you change over to fully synthetic oil.
