Went for a ride today and noticed that the heat shield that sits on the pipes right under the pegs fell off the left side. Is this something I can buy to replace?

I keep welding Wendys back on, I don't know why hers keep breaking. My welds hold but the tab breaks at another point, one tab is broken now on her left pipe. have to find time to pull the pipe and weld again. Mine never break, at least not yet.

You can use original JB Weld epoxy (not the Kwik stuff) to cement that shield back on. It has a very high heat tolerance. I tried it on a shield weld that failed and the repair has held after 2000 kms.
'06 Speedmaster, Long TORS, rest is stock (for now)

Mine that broke was sticking out more than the other since the bike was new. I suspect someone hooked their boot sole on it in the showroom. I've caught mine several times while getting off the bike. JB Weld worked great. Take the pipe off so you can turn it the right way, or the stuff will run down the wrong way before it sets up.
