I was down town Half Moon Bay after work visiting my wife at her work when i walked outside to see two people looking at my bike. they were also riding bikes one V-rod and the other a Speedmaster, '05, blue and black like mine. I walked over to make conversation. To make a long story short I was talking with WildMike from New Zealand and his lady companion who were just days into there (Bonneville America forum announced) across America, into Canada and back to LA trip where they had picked up there bikes (shipped over from New Zealand) in LA and were traveling for , I think 20 days then back home. They were in a hurry to meet up with their group. I said I had read about their pending trip back in June or early July on the web site. They took some pictures of us made some nice comments about my bike and went on their way. Seemed like real nice people and were doing fine. A small world it is.

Small world indeed! I hope they got to stop and look around in Half Moon Bay. One of the best trips the family and I have ever taken was out in that area. We rode horses out on the beach and when we got back up on the dunes we saw some whales passing by... awesome place!

Don,
I was born in VA raised in NJ and now live just off the bluff tops of the Pacific Ocean and watch the horse back riders pass by every weekend. You saw a rare sight when you saw the whales. I have only witnessed them twice in 26 years here. I very much enjoyed all the summer and Christmas trips to VA (mechanicsville area)growing up. I was back there last year visiting relatives.
