Anyone here ever use the Colortune Sparkplug to setup the carb air/fuel mixture? Considering buying one and just wondering if anyone on this forum has had experience with it. Here is the link to the Morgan site.

wow.....those seem like they'd be great! And i read some of that that thread and figured they'd be too expensive, but $43 ain't bad at all. I may look into getting one.Is it just for setting the mix screws or can it be used to check whether your jets are the right size?

It should work with the jets as well. Just remember that things are different with no load. Under load, you would be on the transition ports and pilot jet from around 1600 to where the slides open. The slides open around 3000 - 3600. These engine speeds will probably be a bit higher under no load conditions. It's not a good idea to run the engine fast enough to open the slides without a load for very long at a time, so try to see the colour and back off as quickly as possible.
