Really nice bike. Love the whitewalls. What brand? What size is the front tire? did you have to do anything special to the fender to fit the tire. Ive seen in the past where people had to modify the front fender bracket to fit the 120 tire.

Is that "Pinstriping Decal #8" from lowbrow customs? It looks good.

They are Maxxis Classic. Yes I had to modify the front fender bracket. I took some pics and hope to do somewhat of a write-up soon as I have more time. Soon though.

It is a tach, came like that. I bought it from a member here who said it was a "drag specialties mini tach", and this is what he sent me. At first I was ******, but I've kind of grown to like the black, just wish it matched the speedo. As far as what brand? No idea, it says YIH TIAN on it, and came in a chrome specialties box. Probably some crap from fleabay, but hey, turned out ok, and now I kind of like it.

Yes indeed. I've had it for a while now, but that thing stills looks good. When it was new people thought it was painted on. I plan to get a design painted on when I can find a good pinstriper around here. Tried the sticker first to see how I would like it. I definitely recommend Lowbrow though.

Yeah that's on the list of projects to come. I was thinking of mounting some aftermarket lights on the fender mounts, but with my fat rear end on those progressive 412's I'm worried about ripping the wiring out. Do you know if you can mount aftermarket lights (like bullet style) to the stock signal mounts? Of course I need to figure out how to shorten the stock mounts also.

I had the problem with the wires ripping out in the rear so instead of using the signal bolts as fender bolts, i just drilled a new hole in the side of the strut and shortened the signal posts. Its much easier wiring too because you just run the wires down the strut and under the seat.

I think theyre bright, but ive never seen the stock brightness before...haha
Ive looked behind me while riding in the dark and seen the light hitting the ground so Im assuming theyre good.
The price is right, thats for sure...just gotta take the drill to the struts without looking back. And I think that its better structural wise than replacing the fender bolts with the hollow signal posts.

If you want to cut down the stock, it is an easy job. You will need a hacksaw and a tap/die set. Cut to desired length(short) and then find out what size thread you need and tap that bar on your new cut. I did this to a buddy's scoot...wish I wouldve taken pics to share the idea on here.

That is one nice looking motorcycle. Get rid of that ugly dull valve cover and pop on a chrome one.
I love it though.

(psst...hey kaiser dude...don't tell anybody this, but I agree with Paul here...I mean, you've got chrome engine cases on that beauty don't cha?...well then, why not balance that look with a chrome valve cover too?!...but like I said, don't spread it around that I agreed with Paul about somethin', okay?!)

Nah, not with those silver powdercoated engine cases, Tom.
Now if those cases were black powdercoated, then I'd say you might be right.

Nah, no way dude youre full of it fa sho...haha
I see it like this...The overall shape and character of the part should be taken into consideration. Engine cases, sproket cover, fenter struts...all good things to show some reflection in.
Then theres just parts that dont need that much attention. The cam cover to me is one of them. Its not a matter of "going along with related parts" Its a matter of visibility and how much each piece gets.
Right now the stock grey cover is bright and shinny and sticks out too much and thats why its ugly. Its not that it clashes with the chrome

TOOOOO much chrome if you were to do that to the valve cover. I think a nice black would be beautiful! Dont need to concentrate on the motor, it takes away from the other little details. I absolutely love this bike though! I would love to have her sittin in my garage next to the beast! (not an inuendo referencing my OL)

The valve cover is something I need to address, but I've been procrastinating. I was originally going to go with black, then I changed my mind, thought that a red valve cover would be cool. But then I'm thinking the red would look cool at first, but it would get old fast. So I decided to go chrome, just because I like chrome. but then again black would look cool too. See what I mean?
Hey Tom, can you photoshop me some different valve covers?
I also added some SS long cannons today, looks pimp. I'll have to take some more pix.
