Well, just found an interesting ad on Craigslist from the guy that lives right across the street from me. He wanted advise on the America and I recommended it, well he bought one. Now its for sale. "black 2008 Triumph America 865cc, with only 750 miles.I only had it for 3 months. need to sell. Upgraded with stage 1 epco pipes w/k&n filter. crome swing out foot pegs and stellito hand grips.Lots of crome! Still in very mint condition.(Wife doe'nt like motorcycles)Runs great and loud!!!" Here's the kicker the ad title with price "Triumph America motorcycle for sale - $11700 (Albuquerque)" ummmm, yeah right. Aint gonna happen.  mark

But in all actuality, he is trying to sell it!! I guess the tradeoff was that they went to look at mustangs the other night to trade his truck for, but nobody would talk to him cuz he is upside down on that loan. He just wants to make back what he owes on the bike, and all parts he has put on it etc. LOL ( and he must be counting the future interest too LOL )

Ha! I had a mint 2002 F150 Lariat with 40,000 miles on it and it was paid for. The BEST I could get was $8,000. Your neighbor is in a heap of trouble...

I'll be in Los Lunas the first week in August. Ask him if it's not sold if I can test ride it for 3 or 4 days, and we can go for a ride.
