A while back there was a member selling some Ghost Brackets and sadllebags. I had not heard of the ghost brackets before that only the easy brackets. They are both around the same price, my question is, has anyone used both, and can give a comparison of the two? I realize most of our members use the Easy Brackets, I am wondering if that is just because thats what Brent and Eddy sell, or are they superior to the Ghost Brackets? Thank y'all in advance for your replies.

If I recall correctly, Easybrackets are actually set up (hole spacing) for our bikes, while with GhostBrackets we have to use their universal/adjustable bracket, which looks wonky to me.

I've got Ghost Brackets. Put them on way back in 2002 when I got the bike. Back then neither system had a kit to fit our bikes and you had to make up spacers yourself, which I did. I haven't looked at their site since so I don't know if they have a kit for our bikes now, my guess is no since most buy EZ brackets. But I can say I've never had a problem with them.

I mentioned Ghost Brackets here before, I looked at them and they don't make a specific bracket for our bikes. They sell you a universal bracket with the one mounting point on a slide. It looked like a weak point to me so I would go with the tried and true EZ Brackets that I can say hold up well and work well. I imagine if you don't use them hard either one would work but to me a bike specific part is always better than a universal part.
