No offense intended here; but would you tell me what it is about these bikes that are "custom?"
Can't get the Fig Newton song out of my head.

Off the cuff I would say. She has floor boards, light bar, after market pipes? bags, head light eye bows, luggage rack, Maybe AI removed. Def. not a stocker. Nice looking ride IMHO. He has Diffrent bars, highway bars, no AI? Also a nice looking ride.
08 America (Black of course they are much faster.) AI removed, Everthing else stock atm
No matter where you are, your there

Yup, I think you guys have hit on about everything except the progressive shocks on hers, and I cut a few coils off of my rear shocks. Gonna have to wait till this winter but I want to pull the front end off the speedy and have the shrouds and lowers powdercoated black.( the headlight bucket will get the same as it is just rattle canned for now. ) Also in the plans, Sonya's bike is getting a corbin solo seat tomorrow and whitewalls when she needs tires. The Speedy will get Some hard bags from Brent, a Black and chrome flyscreen, and a custom seat ( white and black ) Mark

With all due respect, they are accessorized and personalized, not custom. The forum says, "Choppers, bobbers, etc. Put 'em here."
But I don't know what else to do with them, and some mods disagree with my definition of Custom ("cut metal or squirt paint"). So they stay.

I didn't either, but then I found someone selling one so I had one to mess up Scuff it up and use primer and you'll be fine. I used "semi satin" or something hi temp engine paint. Looks awesome. Matt thought it was powder coated!

I also placed my pics here as you said, what else do you do with them. alot of us are not premier bike builders but we are just proud of what we did and probably just feel that it is custom that it is different than other bikes. (i know i am). Very nice bikes by the way. Cant go wrong with black.

I'm just gonna throw this out there. Who cares if someone calls their bike a custom. If you don't think it's custom, well honestly, who cares what you think. When I first saw Chopper Pauls bike or Skydive Jeff's or Brokenfixed I thought, "custom." But none of those bikes have a welded on rigid or a modified neck with a redneck springer which really if you think about is the only thing that would put them in that "custom" category that everyone gets so hung up on. Usually the guys who are screaming "that's not a custom bike, " are the ones with every piece of Triumph after market chrome bit bolted on their bike. Am I ranting here. Well maybe. I'm just a little ****** that my bike is down with a broken clutch cable. So while I'm at it let me tell you that in protest I sewed my "Rat Patch" on upside down. And when I get my new paint job the tank badges aren't going back on.
pain is temporary, pride is forever.

Bikes look great!
Whether you would rather call them custom, accessorized or individualized, it doesnt really matter, this is pretty much the only place to post pics of bikes that you have done a bunch of stuff to them.

Built not bought, would define custom to me. I guess you can't really get away from buying. But if you are willing to take a sawzall to your ride it might have to be custom....

Skid....on your bike with the Z bars, do you have custom lenght cables (clutch and throttle) and break lines ? or did the stock ones work ?

Stock length worked, just had to move the throttle cables to right side of tank and had to move the brake line to right side of the speedy from wheel. Mark
