There a guy on ebay that has some with a Triumph logo on em. I was debating a set...I like the look but maybe want to swap out bulbs for the ones that have the tri bar built in. Don't want to loose any lighting ya know.

This one? Now you got me thinking, I wonder how much light (especially for those seeing you) you would really lose? Soren

In answer to your original question, if the shiny chromy thing is the right size, then why shouldn't it fit?
The boss in the centre of the Triumph one looks the same as the car one you posted so there shouldn't be any more light lost than by using the one you wanted to fit in the first place.

Both covers are great. I like the first one as it goes well with my spike theme. I may have to jump on a set of these.

If it fits a 7" light yes. You can find them listed at old hot rod supply websites like www.go-kat-go.com. They sell two sizes, 5.25" and 7". I used the cat's eye cover on my Speedmaster. The only thing that is a PIA is the retaining spring for the headlamp. Getting it back on while keeping the cover in the alignment that you want is tough.

So I ended buying a pair from Lost In The 50's. They shipped very fast and I got them yesterday. I held it up to my head light, and I am going to have to think about it some more if I like that look on my bike. Soren

Ive been debating these for some time (even before this thread). I just didnt know if it was worth it or not. I bit the bulllet and spent some coin and now I have these...and I love the look! I had to take this pic at an angle from the top otherwise you would just see three bright lights. Heres one with the lights off. Installation was pretty easy. The 4.5" driving lights are a direct fit and just plug in. The 7" headlamp took some fiddling. Its a bit thicker than OEM but fits. I had to bend the inner lip to clear the tensioners that hold the light in place. Sorry...no pics. what are they: Adjure Tri Bar Black Dot Diamond cut (T70304 and T40314)

I have a Tri-bar headlight lens(looks very similar to yours) that I picked up off of ebay about 3 years ago, I believe its a drag specialties piece. The face of it is perfectly flat and it seems to throw a slightly narrower, but brighter, more intense beam than the stock piece.

Just wondering, did you shoot this with a SLR? I notice the DOF is fairly shallow.

That's a nice body. I'm using a Canon 40D at the moment, but I shot Nikon film bodies for more than ten years. I still have a half dozen of them in the closet (N6006, F100, FG, FA, etc.). My involvement with photography has really suffered since buying the America. I need to figure out some sort of quick-release kit that will carry the body and two lenses. I really like the idea of shooting from the bike, without getting off. It has the potential to be a much better platform for impromptu captures than a cage.
Post more pics of your bike when you get a chance!

Jack...Im still a novice at it but I got the D60 so I could take advantage of some of my bike trips. So many opportunities for great shots and all were being missed. I carry a monopod, tripod, and my camera bag in one of my hard bags when Im riding and have the room. I have a 18-55 and 70-300 and am thinking for space I should probably look into the 18-200 lens for the sake of convenience. Maybe we should start a picture thread to discuss picture taking tips. Anyway...heres a link to my hack pics http://www.flickr.com/photos/24489610@N05/sets/
