If the center section is 1" (it says the outer diameter is 1.25"), you get longer cables and brake line, and lengthen your hand control wiring.

Wouldn't grips and hand controls have to be changed also?

Those bars will fit the bike with stock controls etc. But you will need to have longer brake line, wiring, and throttle cables. The ends of the bars and the center section ( where the risers attach ) are all 1 inch and the rest are 1 1/4 inch.

Yeah, if the bars are 1.25" at the grips, too. Some aftermarket bars that thick step down to 1" at the grip, too. If not, that could get pricey...

Oh, yeah, um, what skid said...

All the stock controls are for 1 inch bars and those apes that you are looking at are 1 inch where the controls go, so you can use the stock controls if you like.
