Wow! I just received an email from my dealership, Machines in Motion, in Cumming, Ga., advising us that they will be closing soon. What a shame. They were they best you could ask for in my opinion. Always there to help you out with parts, ascessories, service. Very honest with their dealings, never pushy, etc. Man, what a bummer! Well, all I can say is I wish you all the very best of luck and you will be missed very, very much. Sorry to see you go. Don Morris AKA "Paw", Cleveland, Ga.

Me too... I am both surprised and disappointed as well. Some of the best folks I have ever dealt with. I will miss them. I sure hope Chy and the other tech and mechanics will land on their feet.

Is this a daelership that is closing because business is slow? Or did Triumph in its wisdom just pull the rug out from under them. As they did my old dealer?

When I was reading the first post in this thread I was thinking "doesn't Chy work there?"
Bummer!
+1 on landing on your feet Chy.

This was the official email I received today:
Machines In Motion has closed its operations. We have elected not to re-open for normal business following the summer holiday. Given my health, the stress, economy, and general condition of the industry, it is in both my , and my families best interest to close the dealership. We would like to thank everyone for the support over the years. We will open at 9:00 a.m. Saturday July 12th for liquidation sale. We intend to continue through the following weekend. Everything must be sold including bikes, parts, accessories, and apparel. The trucks, trailers, tools, fixtures, and equipment will also be sold. Our hours will be: Saturday July 12th 9:00am to 5:00pm Sunday July 13th 1:00pm to 5:00pm Monday July 14th 10:00am to 6:00pm Tuesday July 15th 10:00am to 6:00pm Wednesday July 16th 10:00am to 6:00pm Thursday July 17th 10:00am to 6:00pm Friday July 18th 10:00am to 6:00pm Saturday July 19th 9:00am to 6:00pm I will be sending out more details later this week about where to get you bikes serviced, and other details as I become aware of them. Thank you again for your support. Bill Reins Machines In Motion d/b/a Triumph of North Georgia

Dang, that's two in a row; the joint in Chattanooga shuttered in June. Wonder if this means the cush drive parts I ordered won't be coming?

What?? That's a shame. They seemed to have everything just right. After the remodel job it seemed to be the perfect Triumph dealership I guess they tried to sell it first. I hope something happens or someone comes along and buys it. I agree they are very nice people, I guess our economy really does suck right now. My thoughts and prayers are for all the folks there to find jobs.

They were more than good, an outstanding place staffed with outstanding people. So good I was planning to drive the extra 4 hours to do my 12k there. My thoughts are particularly with Chy. Never forget that the cream always rises to the top...you'll be fine. SteveB

AHHHH, I come back from the 4th holiday break just to find this in my in-box. Its a real bummer, I also thought that the place was staffed with great knowledgeable people, in particular Chy and Andy who were the ones I dealt with the most. I sincerely wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors. Keep in touch guys.
