heck...I haven't even been in my car since the last ice storm we had in January. I should really check to see if it still runs...

Mark, thanks for the pilots.

When I find myself behind a wheel, driving is so strange.

I know most of us around here ride to work as much as we can and ride as much as we can, but it's still one of those things worth getting the word out for.

Not really.
I have to disagree - those of us who ride every chance we get will ride, er, every chance we get.
The weekend warriors and trailer queens may get motivated enough to ride that one day, but to make our presence known enough to make a difference, they have to become us ...not just one Wednesday a year.

Funny..., I never really liked riding to work. Now riding AWAY from work, that I can handle. Or riding INSTEAD of work is even better. Riding FOR work is a dream hardly ever realized.

You are absolutley right and maybe a day like this will be that trigger that will do just that.

Didn't ride to work yesterday - bad man that I am. Had a pick up load of stuff to transport, and not enough rope to lash the bike to the roof

I work to ride though - maybe that'll help lower any Karmic curse I may have incurred

Same here. What makes it better is passing all those miserable faces stuck in traffic.

Ride to Work Day. Rode to work, as I do every day, around 6:30 am, sunny clear skies. By 9:00 am it's freakin pouring rain, heavy rain fall warning issued by Enviroment Canada. Rain tapered off mid afternoon, sun peeking out, Enviroment Canada issues a tornado warning. This is not looking good for the ride home. By the end of the day the sun came out, blue skies, cruise home. Don't listen to the forecasts, if it ain't raining in the morning, ride to work.

Ever since I quit my job I haven't had any work to ride to; does it count that I rode to my friend's place and helped him replace a broken spoke and reinstall the rear wheel on his T-100?
