Same old thing. Yesterday I was coming back through town, 35 MPH, a guy with a huge double cab truck cut clear across both my lanes turning into traffic. Cut me off totally. Did the dirtbike 3/4 slide, kept it up until the last second when the tire grabbed and tossed me over the high side at low speed. Got up, dusted my full leathers off, the guy came runmning back, "are you okay!?" Yeah, yeah, I'm okay. Him and his buddies in the truck helped push me off the road. He was apologetic as ****** and felt bad, said he rode as well. Kinda felt sorry for him. NO damage to the bike, except a broken screw on the windshild. The guy said the classic "I didn't see you". Jeez, I've got that fancy, pancy, $90 halogen trillient headlight, running on high beam (like some of you have reccomended) and he STILL didn't see me. I give up. I'm gonna chuck the leathers and get me a full clown suit, bright pink with blue shoes and a funny hat with a big purple flower in it! Nuts.

Glad to see that the damage was minimal and that you are okay.
I've recently started riding with a bright green ICON reflective safety vest just for the 'I didn't see you' reason. I know that it may look like I'm a construction worker on a lunch break, but I could give a fat rat's butt as long as the brain dead cagers see me coming.
Bright green is the 'new black' IMHO. The more riders who wear it, the more 'in fashion' it will become. Set the trend!!

Glad you are ok..But you should have kicked him in the groin and asked "Did you see that?".

The percentage you're paying is too high-priced
While you're living beyond all your means
And the man in the suit has just bought a new car
From the profit he's made on your dreams

BRILLIANT!!!
I'm glad you came out ok, it could have been worse.
Just yesterday I saw a cager cut off a rider cause he wanted to get into the HOV lane... a VERY close call... I was extremely mad just by watching it happen.

A clown suit is a good idea but don't get the big clown shoes they make it real hard to get under the shift lever and they drag in the curves. Ask me how I know.
if life gives you lemons keep them because hey, free lemons.

Glad you're ok. What kind of pipes do you use? If they're a little quiet, try some open shorties, they might not see you, but they will hear you.

I haven't had anyone pull out in front of me since I put the light bar on. I seem to remember a thread a few years back about it giving some depth perception, granted this shouldn't be needed!

I have a lot of people in front of me flip me off because of my light bar. I just hit the high beams when they do that. I would rather you be a little mad than me be a little dead
