How much difference is there with just a flyscreen? I like the looks of the bike with nothing and the flyscreen is not that big and obtrusive. I was just wondering from people that have them if they really make any difference at all?

Hey Brian, I had asked the same question a month or so back and was pretty much surprised at the positive feed back by flyscreen owners. Apparently it takes most of the pounding wind off your chest and if you aim it properly (and duck a little I ould think) you should be able to deflect it over your helmet. This would be the Triumph fly screen, not the Dart flyscreen which is not adjustable. Good luck.

Mine works really well, course i have the bike lowered in the back and have a low profile seat which puts me pretty much where i need to be, also depends what angle you set it at (very easy BTW)

As I mentioned in the earlier posts noted by Erwin, the flyscreen works exceptionally well for me. It DID need time and patience to adjust to me, however, so be patient. SteveB

The Triumph flyscreen is actually sensitive to adjustment. It took a bit of trial & error to get it dialed in, & for me it actually works best when it is set to the most asthetically pleasing angle. Coincidence? I think not!

Agree with the above. Mine's fine-just enough protection but it did take some tome to dial it in. It does make a difference when it's in the right spot for you.

The fly screen on my speedy does a better job than the stock screen on my Tiger.

Thanks all for your replies. Looks like I'll be investing in one. I take it from the responses that the Triumph screen is the way to go so that is what I'll be getting. Thanks again.

Take a look at the Dart flyscreen, you can get one through Brent. They look nice, are made by a British company with a solid reputation and are cheaper than the Triumph version. Unfortunately mine is still sitting in it's box, waiting to go on my next TBA this September-ish. There are some others here who have the Dart flyscreen and they seemed pretty happy with it as well.
Blue/White 2007 TBA, Thruxton needles, Unifilter, AI removed, Polaris Bellmouth, Bubs, Nology Coils/wires, Lightbar, Ricor Intiminators, Hagon Nitros, Tall Sissy Bar w/luggage rack, Dart flyscreen & Lowers. 130 Mains, TrueGel Battery MG12-BS.

Thanks Erwin. Sent him a PM to see if he still has it. Conwy the posts above suggest the Triumph screen is better because you can adjust it.

You coming up to the NH rally? I have a triumph flyscreen that doesn't work for me. You can try it out and if you like it I'll give you a good deal.

TRIUMPH Flyscreens are made for them by NATIONAL CYCLE.
I bought mine through BIKEBANDIT.COM and took my AMA member discount. I went with the darker shade (not too dark, but not clear). Don't look for the enclosed instructions to help a lot - I think mine were in German - but once all the parts are laid out, it is pretty obvious how it all fits together.
Keith Houston Ridin'Texas '04 Speedmaster AI removed, Pingle, UNI Filter, 1 shim, straight-through slash-cut TORs, Stage 1 DynaJet, 140 mains, 3 turns, 16/42 final drive, 115K 2020 T120 Black
