Did that get your attention? I'm looking to strip my pank down to bare metal. Whats the best/easiest way to do it? Also if i'm gonna leave it like that. Should I put some sort of sealer on it? If so. what do you recommend?

Get a local blaster that uses plastic or organic media (like walnut shells) to "sand" blast it (minus the sand of course) and then satin clear it.
