Fifth Annual Rally for the Troops on Sunday, 13 Jul 08.

This ride starts at a HD dealer in Tacoma, runs down I-5 past McChord AFB, Fort Lewis, and Camp Murray, and back up to the dealership. Maybe about a 10 mile ride total, but last year there were thousands of bikes (of all types and brands), and the overpasses were lined with cheering supporters. I've never seen so many flags in one place before.
There's a band, and food (for $8), and all the other normal things. Ride only costs $15, plus $1.50 if you register online.

Started out as a ride to show support for the deployed Stryker Brigade, grew to be a tribute to all the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine, Coast Guard. Well worth going to if you're in the NW.

I hope we can get a lot of folks to join in . I was Stationed at Ft Lewis in 1982 . It's a beautiful post and the support from the locals should be overwhelming . Ride safe and have a great day
