Hello All,

I have a 2003 TBA
I have 2 questions,
first, how many miles have you folks put on the stock tires.
Second, any recommendations for wide white wall tires?
Thanks

The stock America tires seem to be good for 8 - 15 Kmiles, depending on how you ride and road conditions.
Do a search here for whitewalls, the subject has come up a few times. There don't seem to be any the exact size for these bikes. The best fit is a little taller, so you will probably have to make some changes to the front fender mounting. In the photo gallery there is a picture of a set of extending brackets that look and work well. Some have cut the center out of the fender brace, but that doesn't seem like a good idea to me because the fender brace contributes to the rigidity of the forks.

Hi Jam,
Welcome! The two members I can think of right now that use WW tires are Piper and Case. Write them and they will let you know. I am sure our stock size front tire is not available in white. I think Piper went with a 120/90-18 for the front and it rubbed the fender bracket at speed. He modified the bracket to raise it and the fender a wee bit. Go to photopost and look at their galleries. You're gonna love it here.

Piper, Didn't you totally remove the center section of the fender bracket? If so any noticeable change in the stability? I was a bit reluctant to cut mine, but I did cause I wanted to run a 120, went for a long ride today, seemed ok to me. Will know more when I get my new tires on this week. Greybeard voiced my concern. Will fab a modified piece to fit tighter in the fender radius if things get a bit squirelly.

Yes, I did that. Since then I bought another fender bracket and raised it by cutting off and welding on the most lower inch of the old one. Looks original, only higher and eliminated any worries...
