Like to have a repop of that old Indian? These guys started off making replacement castings and expanded to complete engines and then whole bikes. http://www.kiwi-indian.com/

I think the footage of the actual guy was as good if not better than the movie.

Great movie!
We just watched The Motorcycle Diaries last night. The first half of the film features an early 1950s Norton 500. Not really about bikes, it's still a great movie and some of the scenes with the bike are priceless.

We rented that movie 2 months ago and it started acting up half way thru. Finally when he got to bonneville and couldn't go, the dvd locked up and the video store didn't have anymore copies. I don't go to blockbuster due to their outrageous prices. I'm cheap! I did like what I saw though.

At least once a month, it's been on one of the cable/satellite channels. Well worth watching. I have it flagged as a keeper on the Tivo looking thing we have on the main TV.

Such a great under rated movie Anthony Hopkins was nothing short of amazing in it and the people he touched on his way to Bonneville Dianne Ladd for one where just fun to watch. Plus the Triumphs beat his Indian

Only because he fell over.
Glad you enjoyed the movie Joe,I have told quite a few to see it both biker types and non-bikers alike. There is something in that movie for most anyone. Very well done and good story.

It's not just a motorcycle (or motorcyclists) movie. It is a great movie that I think almost everyone will enjoy.

Get a copy of the DVD. It has the original documentary the producer made when Burt Munro was still runnin' at Bonneville. Its good to rewatch. Says a lot about never givin' up on your dreams, even if you're an old dude.
Its more fun to be ridin'! I'm still ridin

Wait a minute, I always thought the World's Fastest Indian was Chief Falling Rocks... You still see signs all over America saying to watch out for him... SteveB
