I'm thinking along the lines of removing the lower fork covers to sort of lighten up the look of the front end. Does any one know if the standard Bonneville fork leg is the same size as a America and if the seal cover? or what ever it is called is the same size?

Brett Growing old disgracefully.

Some members of the board (the 'Old Board') had removed the shrouds and installed gaiters. The standard Bonnie boots are pretty $$$. For US$25 a pair you can get them at http://www.bellacorse.com/bcc001.htm

I've tried the Bella Corse gaiters, and then went with Brent's gaiters after the first pair started cracking after about 6 months. These 2nd pair of gaiters have a noticeably thicker material to them the first pair. Worth the extra $5 IMO.

Fork gaiters

Btw, that's my bike in the pics on Brent's site.
