heres my idea for a cool and different exhaust.it cost about $125 to make.it has a 1 3/4" od pipe and and a 1 3/4" id muffler. this is my prototype to see how it would work.i think it works pretty good as i have 63.59 hp with it. this winter i will be making a 2" exhaust. i will keep it a 2 into 1 type. stv [image]http:// [/image] [image]http:// [/image]

yeah, i could do that but i made it to look the way i wanted it to.i like it and thats what counts. i wanted to show something different and say hey get creative, its ok to do your own backyard engineering.so go for it people.
also you dont have to spend 500$ or more to get a very decent sound and a hp boost on top of it.

While you're at it... I bet you'd make money bending up fresh header pipes too!

Hey Steve, I'm with Frank on this one. Mate, you've got some talent there I believe and provided they have a good sound and actually help with improving torque, you may be able to make an extra few bucks on the side.

Cool idea but from performance aspect it seems to me that the left pipe would be longer thus uneven back pressure and flow.

this is really getting to be the pits. the wind was blowing so hard all you could hear on the video was wind noise, then we find one run that sounded decent (did a whole bunch of them) and my daughter accidently erases everything.
what a load of .....

I like the black. My opinion, the RPM lmits of this motor will negate all but the highest frequency pulse, I don't think the small difference in pipe length is going to reduce power too much, it's not a YZF after all. Since you're custom bending what do you think of twins- smooth black pipe from heads to slash-cut, with internal baffle and no seams? If you can build that I'd be interested.
