I was wrong. Look under the post "Yota Sighting in North Georgia" on 9/18/08 in the lounge. Di is wearing the 08 GA. Rally Shirt. She looks a lot better then Yota wearing it.

Ok, so is this what the shirt will look like, assuming it will have the state of Arkansas on it instead of Georgia right and long sleeved correct?

Dang that looks good, I have already made out my lunch order off their menu.
Second order of things, go ahead and add a second XL shirt for me also. So that makes 2 XL for me. Thanks and see you all soon!

I know we are all kinda laid back and not "gunched-up" over routes to ride and all.....but I picked up a brochure the tourist dept. in arkansas puts out called " Motorcycle Riding Guide of yhe Ozarks".. in it it lists seven (7) routes from 56 miles to 168 miles with number of curves from 326 to 662....it also lists food/fuel stops....I'll bring several of these for us to look at.....

Thanks Dan. That's good because we still may want to have a ride on Friday afternoon and on Sunday. For Friday we were going to wait and see how many people wanted to, since some are coming a long way and may have sore butts.

I'm still interested in the ride for Sunday. I wonder how many of us will be left, as most have to return for work on Monday.

I was thinking there might be 5 or 6 of us left, for a ride Sunday. Donny and I were toying with the idea of leaving Eureka Springs Sunday morning and riding down to Hot Springs via Highway 7 and stay all night in Hot Springs Sunday night. Any interest in that from the Sunday straglers?

Still trying to figure out my return plans, a lot of it will depend on the forecast and my trip out. May hang out and only do a half day back on Sunday, then I would be up for a morning ride.

I turned in the T-shirt order today. I was wanting to put Triumph Motorcycles on the back along with the Rally logo on front but the printer wouldn't go for it, because of copyright laws. He said I would have to get permission from Triumph and you know that ain't going to happen. The cost is going to be $10 per shirt. I didn't think that was too bad for long sleeve t's. I had to put half up front so I would appreciate anyone wanting to pre-pay. Just pm me and I will send you my address for checks or money orders. Thanks. 18 more days.

Just took Vera Lynn II to the pole barn in Dahlonega today. She has fresh oil, fresh brakes, and a clean bill of health from the man himself (Chy). We are ready to roll.

I received a pair of brake pads and some patches and badges for some give aways at the Rally, from Eddy at www.fasteddysports.com. Maybe we could do a raffle for the brake pads. Thanks a bunch Eddy, hope you can make it next year.

I have a long sleeved Triumph T-shirt that I will be bringing to he rally as a give-away. It is an XL-slender, so it fits my form not very well at all, but it might fit someone who's coming to the rally.
Sorry, this is a free offer to those attending the ARK Rally only.
I also have a very nice chrome rear fender bib (for bikes with solo seats) which I may bring as well to anyone who would like it for their own bike. (It's kind of heavy, so I'm still deciding whether to bring it or not.)
