Rode on to Hot Springs for the night and then the next day to Mena and over the top of the Quachitas and back in to Oklahoma. Had a rain free weekend but ran into bad storms the Monday coming back wasnt fun but made it back in one piece. Cant wait till October....gonna be fun!

I will try to make it! Oct.is a great time for this area. Looking forward to it should be a good time. I havent been with a group of riders where my bike didnt stand out of the croud. I hope I can deal with having to share the attention. I will also be in this area July 13 (approx) going to take a weeklong trip thru Mo. & Ar.

I also am ready. Working out my 2-3 day route out that way; trying to figure out what and who all I can see between here and there.

Tom, maybe you could swing up to Southern Kentucky and meet up with Yota. When I came back from Ga. rally, I took US HWY 64 West to Memphis. It was a nice road, I stayed all night at the Roadway Inn, West Memphis.

I priced T-shirts today. For 15 shirts with some kind of ARK rally logo, it would cost $13.50 per shirt. I would also have to get some art work to give her. Like the Bonneville America Brit/symbol that is on the Ga. rally shirt. Let me know if you all want me to pursue this.

At this point I am thinking 78 out of Birmingham up through Tupelo and into Memphis. That new stretch (future 22) was not too busy last time I was out that way. Then from Memphis, I am not sure yet. 40 is tempting, but I would really like to see more of the country than is offered by the slab. I am still looking at routes. Do you have a suggestion that also works to satisfy your missus? That way we would have two 230#ers headed west.

just looked at a map,, this trip is gonna be all=right. next town south is berryville---home of wilson combat, and metalloy industries, both of whom have gotten chunks of money out of me over the years. wanted to ride my bike up there last year to hand deliver a match .45 to wilson,,,ending up shipping it fed-ex. HAVE to make a visit to both places, while there.

Right next door to Southland Greyhound ParK? I used to do a lot of work there. The Holiday Inn across the highway is a little more $ but way nicer by the way. Great bar too.

Sorry guys I've been on call for a week with my job. I will work on the t-shirt thing some more on Monday. I'm pretty sure they will be able to do long sleeve shirts but we will probably be looking at $20 or possibly 25. I still haven't figured out the logo. Do you all want to go with a Ga Rally type logo modified? could someone send me some art work to my home computer? It's listed in my bio.

The more the merrier Johnny. You might want to hook up with me and Donny in Tulsa. We are going to leave Friday morning early but we would wait for you. Wichita is only about 2 1/2 -3 hours from here.

Are you hinting you want the T-shirts to be black, and white, Dan? I was really leaning towards chartreuse with teal highlights and a hint of baby blue.

Talked to the t-shirt lady today. Long sleeve shirts will be $16.50 and XXL and up will be a dollar more. Thanks to RobBA05 for sending me the art work from the NH Rally t-shirts. They will be able to modify them for us. Participants need to start thinking about ordering and letting me know their sizes and how many. Hill has already started the ball rolling. Sorry they can only do one color and still give me a reasonable price. Since I'm doing the work, I'm picking the general color. I'm going to go with Ice Grey, Heather Blue or Gray or Charcoal. If anyone has a preference within those colors let me know and I will try and get a consensus. If it gets too confusing I have the last say. No offense, but I get tired of big bad biker black. I can't wait until fall. These 104 daily high temps are getting me down.
