Love the floorboards, but now the foot pedal for the brake sits up too high. Is there a way I can get it to angle down more?

Yep. There is a bolt between two brackets. Gotta get the bracket off to do it. It's a bit slow as there is not an area to fit a wrench-I did it by hand-and there is only a small amount of adjustment-but enough.
