Hello Triumph-riders

Did anybody install the new large Triumph saddlebags? I had a look at them at my Triumph-dealer in L.A. and they look very nice. I forgot to ask the dealer if they are removable or throw-over-style.

Would be glad to get your advices!

Baz, thank you for the nice pictures! It looks like as the bags are throw-over-style and you cannot take them off the bike quickly, right?

If you get yourself something like the EZ-Brackets, I am sure you could easily convert them to quick release bags.

Are you using guard's.. to prevent the bag getting caught in the chain/wheel/brake caliper??

Whats the general concensus with guards. Just bought some bags of a similar size to these, they are big enough to rest on the rear shocks and the rear bumper, so i dont think i need anything else.

any thoughts?

I like the look of them and have been waiting to see them first hand, but I'm disappointed that they're just throwovers. And for 550 bones I'm not keen on drilling holes in them to convert to ez-brackets.
