ABS plumbing elbows to be exact. Pvc is not good in the heat where as black ABS will not emit vapors when heated.

i had those things mounted on mine for a bit. The previous owner ordered them from streetboogie. I gotta say theyre nothing but problems. My opinion, take it or leave it.
These carbs dont have alot of surface area on the inlet. So when you start adding the weight of the elbows it sorta pulls itself off. Ask me how i know, When i first bought my bike i was doing 60 and the thing fell off without me even noticing until the bike started to sputter, i looked down and there wasnt anything there. And it happend 1 more time after that before i decided to wrap a piece of wire around it as a teather. Then the problem with that was it would slip off a bit and look like it was on but be partly open on the inside where you couldnt see. What a pain...thats what made me wanna rip out the airbox completely and stick the battery under the seat.
To be fair the left one stayed on better than the right. And the right couldve had my leg touching it while i was sitting at a light or something.
I will say this, its a cheaper alternative to the freak kit, and you dont have to cut away much airbox at all so the side panels will still go on also.

dont let me scare you Jeff...ahah
If you want i can mail them to you. Be warned they look like crap right now. Street Boogie paints them with a wierd black paint, and i had a carb leak gas inside it and it melted the paint off the left one....oh and the right ones got some gashes and damage from falling off at 60 mph twice. And you'd need to find/make some rubber couplings to fit over the pvc/filters/carbs mine were harvested for their rubber to use under the solo seat bracket.
Yeah exactly theyre worthless...haah

I cannot speak for Street boogies product, since I made my own, but mine have not had any issues....now I used extra long rubbers on mine....and clamped the holy he!! out of them. Also looks like the ABS 180's I used are a tighter radius..and did NOT paint the insides....that can only lead to trouble. Anyway...I hope this helps.

Just to clear the air, the paint wasnt on the inside it was on the outside, the fuel dripped out of my filter and traveled down the outside of the pipe fitting and ate the paint.
Actually I noticed on yours you have a spring heading somewhere...whats that for?

Oh ok...I have no springs on my setup. The only thing I can think of is that the hoseclamp on the carb side of the rubber looks like a spring in my pics.

Reminds me of when people would turn the head around backwards so the air intake would face the front.
