I just logged onto the US e-bay (looking for old US license plates if you must know, I collect 'em, what can I say??!!) and I saw this Vespa on the home page.

Look at the price it's up to!!
I sorta like this little scrote of a bike ... if for no other reason than the little kid in the last pic giving the thumbs up

Wait, I thought Vespas were supposed to have 300+ mirrors? Too bad the panels aren't all chromed like the one wotsisname stole from Sting and drove off the cliff.

I LOVE scooters!!!

I like the looks of the Salsbury, but nothing beats the 2 speed Cushman except maybe the Mustang, but that was really a motorcycle. They make those Italian ones look like gurly skoots.

if there's something worse than a honda it's a vespa
that one is in good condition but well over priced
around here they go for £1500 to £2000 and thats in mint condition
well theres lots of them around as they were very popular in spain
200 mirror examples are for mods YUK but scooterists are like the classic bike riders
they look after them and restore them
MODS used them as fashion accessories for a mod the next step was a ford cortina
scooters for them was a means to an end
they used to be heavy fighting between MODS and Rockers
yet they didn't have guts to fight the outlaw bikers of the 60's and early 70's
mind you the outlaws were sorting out their own turf wars in those days
proof is we still have bikers be it outlaws, born again, or enthusiasts who ride and enjoy motorcycles
and we have scooterists but Mods are out like beehive hair doos and drian pipe jeans out of fashion
class never goes out of fashion

I'm gettin' the feeling here that Melvin ain't too big on scooters.

i've been a back patch holder with the local MC which i founded with a few others in 1982
saying that i like a good resto job be it scooter bike or car
plane tractors steam engines boats if the work has been put in i do appreciate it
my biking style if theres any is streetfighter i had a speed triple 955i
i love the stunting bikes but alas my back went and i now have cruisers
at least i ride as the doctor said to stop riding or get a different style of motorcycle
