i went to maggie valley n/c over the weekend for a short vacation and took the bike (trailered it). In maggie valley there was a corvette show and a bunch of them stayed at our hotel, while watching the vettes come in the first thing everyone did was look at my bike, then the questions started, i dont think anyone ever saw a triumph before. I tried to trade my bike for a vette but the best offer i could get from one of the guys was his wife in trade ( didnt want that) any way i had a good trip, got to ride alot including the dragon, rt 28, and the parkway. wow was there alot of bikes down there, and everywhere i went everyone loved the triumph!! even the harley guys!! cliff

We only saw one other Triumph on Sunday, a red and black Speedy at the summit headed toward Robbinsville. Was that you?

Seems like a good deal to me, as long as you can swap back after you've both had a ride

I was there this week end also, only saw 1 triumph, R111, had a bunch of people eye ballin the speedy also. Saw 2 wrecks, If you guys do the dragon ...pull over in some of the pull offs and just watch some of these guys (sport bikes) go through that thing Amazing! nuts but amazing, when we go we also do the Cherohalla skyway...120 mi, and if you add the HellBender another 20 mi...I just dont see how a ride can get any better than that
