The sound from my T-bike mufflers, is harsh. I had to replace the packing two years ago, and it sounds like I need to again. While I was looking around the T-bike site I saw a "Optional DB Killer Removeable Baffle set" has any one tried these out ?

I repacked mine a while back as well. I don't have any info on the DB Reduction baffles, but I sent Graeme an e-mail asking him to let me know about them, or to post something on the site. He's a member on here.

I got a reply from Jason at TBike....

Hi Don,

Thanks for your message
"The DB killers are small baffles which slip into the end of the muffler and are retained by a simple grub screw DB
they cut the noise output by 3 to 4 DB and do not harm power output too much.

Many Thanks"

I think I may get a set of these - if for nothing else than to have something to replace the originals next time I have to repack them.

They seem awful pricey to me, but I would like to subdue the t-bikes a bit, old ears don't ya know.....

From the time you got the TB pipes how long did the original packing last before you changed it out?

Hmm, I have one of the first sets of T'bike pipes and still have the original packing. I do note that they are now quite a bit louder, but it helps keep the bambis away.
