Ok It's well past midnight and I've been up since 7 but what would you get if you took the stock TBA mufflers off altogether, rejetted and installed one of those $3.99 slip in baffles? Has anyone tried this? This is my last wacky idea for tonight. I'm going to bed.-Bro. Fozzie

If you are talking about just installing baffles in the headers, be careful, you will be messing with the balance and could throw off your exhaust backpressure needs severly and especially the equation for proper tuned length. This can cause a severe loss of torque/power at certain rpms. But, it could be done. If done correctly. Try not to screw the header pipes up so you can always go back. They are big $$ to replace the header pipes.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Somewhere out there somebody has a giant holesaw(or 2) that has been passed around for the past year. It may be warn out by now, but send it back to me and I'll weld on a new blade tip so we can keep it going around. The important thing is to cut slowly and straight. I did run one out the side of a muffler (OOPS!) by not being careful with tool alignment. Mike Sr.

There should be two big ol' saws out there that are 1-1/2" x 30 some inches long. If I don't get one back, I'll just make another one. Send me an address. Mike Sr.
