Maybe this would be nothing more than a postal nightmare and a worthless notion at best, however, after looking at both the Dealer list post and the Pony Express post, this crazy idea occurred.
What if the person/s in posession of the 'journal' took a moment to stop by their respective dealer and ask for a donation in the form of a tee or hat or other form of lesser cost merchandise. Once the journal makes it's way home, hold a raffle for those that participated and pass out the loot. (another reason this may not work is T-dealers are notoriously tighter than frog nuts - and they are water-proof)

Not a bad idea, the carrier would have to have some kind of sales skills of his own, in order to get a "frog nutted" dealer to cough up anything free.Perhaps telling them there are 4000 or memebers of the forum,and having his shop placed on some kind of "Friends of the Forum" list could get their attention...just a thought.
