After wanting to get out of Southern CA for a long time now, the opportunity has finally come.
At the end iof June we are moving from the San Fernando Valley to Asheville, NC.
Is anyone willing to give up some valuable information on good rides, T-mechanics, etc? I know of the BR Parkway... can't wait for that one. Anything more remote? Day rides? Gatherings?

Some of the best riding in the entire US is within easy reach from Asheville: The Snake, Deals Gap, Cherohala Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Asheville, NC. Ahhhh the jewel of the Appalachians. All roads that lead to Asheville are great! Even the I-40 slab round the East side of Great Smoky Mountains.

I'll be down ther in June looking around. Unfortunately it's going to be in the cage. Hopefully within 2 years I'll be moving to that region.

I am only 3 hours away if you need your bike worked on, but I think Chy is closer.
