Holy cow! Their customer service is absolutely useless. I ordered the "clutch tool" along with some other stuff to change out my clutch springs. The order totaled about $200. Not HUGE but enough that you would think they would want me as a repeat customer. I placed the order on april 28th!!!!! I've been getting a run around like you wouldn't believe as to what, why and where. Last monday I was used the cyber chat method of contact. What a crock. They told me they where waiting on one more item and it would ship by the end of last week. I heard nothing. So I checked on monday of this week. They claimed it would be shipped no later then Tuesday. It's now FRIDAY-they still haven't shipped the order and STILL won't try to contact the Triumph supplier to find out exactly how long it is going to take to recieve the 'clutch tool' portion of the order. They actually offered to cancel the order and "make an exception not to charge me a restocking fee" !!!!! Are you kidding me? To restock WHAT? I am down $200 bucks, my clutch is rattle'n and I just want to fix my 5,000 mile clutch. Rant over....thanks.

I agree that they are painfully slow. I ordered a few misc. gaskets and such when I was preparing to install my 904 kit, and when it FINALLY arrived there was a small problem. One of the little ziploc bags wasn't sealed. I had ordered four copper washers for the oil line that runs up to the head, but only one was in the box, and it was bent.Apparently the rest fell out during shipping. I chatted online with them and they said they would send me what was missing. Apparently they were blowing smoke up my ****** because that was in October of last year! I never got them. Fortunately I was able to find some elsewhere in time to reassemble my motor. I Ordered a new slide for one of my carbs last week. I hope I don't have any problem with this order. Of course I don't know how long it may take to get it this time either, and probably will NOT order from their site anymore.

They are painfully slow but I did get what I ordered.

I have not used Bike Bandit but may suggest that if you know what hard parts you need and can convey that to a Triumph dealer parts store, then you might get what you need quicker cause I believe there will be fewer middle-men to slow things up. I know my dealer in Mountainview Ca (650-966-1183 - Paul or John) will UPS stuff out with a credit card number as long as you pay up front. They stock most common stuff but have to order in other stuff just like Bike - Bandit. Just a suggestion for options Gary

The dealer can get them, I would say Hermys but I'm sure you must have someone closer.

Really? I will get back to you tomorrow.....it's the big round one that holds the 'fly wheel' from spinning so you can tighten the large clutch basket nut, right?
That would be crazy nice of you.
I just am going to give them till tomorrow to send the other stuff. If that leaves by the end of the day then I'll cancel the tool, borrow yours and finaly get er done.
I'll pm you tomorrow.

i ordered a tire for an older Kawi once (among other things.) They shipped the right tire (but it was the wrong descripription/size on their catalog) They made me pay to ship it back! I too had to deal with a cyber chat to deal with it (or lack there of. ) I have learned that most local shops can order the same things at similar prices. Doesn't have to be a Triumph dealer either. Most shops go through an outfit similar to bikebandit, but they deal with screwed up orders, not us.

So why didn't you ask to borrow one here first? Would have saved a lot of grief.

because I figured it would be faster this way. I also figured that I could be the one to loan it out for those who needed it. LOL
