That clip is on the TT documentry DVD i have. I think the Milky Bar Kid retired after that crash. Dont blame him.

That little video clip makes it sound like he got up and walked away! his spleen was removed and he was treated for a collapsed lung, bruised kidney, broken ankle and cracked ribs. The crash was at about 90mph, he got pretty lucky. If he hadnt of sat up, he probably wouldve died.

Saw that a long time ago but a much shorter clip. The clip I saw never said anything about clipping the wall. I always wondered why his hands were off the bars, now I know. Amazing he lived.

very lucky chap - I was marshalling at Ballacraine (the slow right hander you see in the video) when it happened - my colleagues at Ballig say they expected him to be dead when they got to him.
Very very lucky chap - I think he does marker laps now in the Manx GP showing new riders the course.
