Anyone going to or interested in the big horse race on Sat? I Went downtown to the KY Derby on May 3rd and watched Big Brown destroy the field. I really don't think any horse in Saturday's race can hang with Big Brown. Curious if there are any bonnevilleamerica.com site members who are big into horse racing or attend any of the three legs of the triple crown?(KY Derby, Preakness, Belmont) I love going to the track, especially during derby week. Kind of funny that the Churchill Downs seats that I can sit in for $2 on a normal day go for over $200 during the derby.

back when I lived in Brooklyn, I always loved watching the Triple Crown races. Granted, that was mostly because a few buddies and I would go out to a few bars and start drinking around 9am and generally not stop until about the same time the next day, but that's beside the point.

I've been to Belmont Park a few times as well as the Aqueduct...but never for the Belmont Stakes.

Funny Pics man! I thought the funnest part of going to the Derby was standing on a street corner drinking Budweiser tall boys watching the insanity going on all around. It was like a three ring circus. Oh how I love to people watch.
