I'm looking at riding the America from Norfolk, VA up to CT this weekend to meet my girlfriend while she's spending some time up there camping with some old friends of her's. If I can cut out of work early enough on Friday, I'll head up then and we'll be coming back down on Sunday.
I've been checking the weather best I can for both riding days. If anyone lives around the route, I'd love what your local weather is predicting.
Leaving here I'll probably go up through Delaware. The rest of the way will probably be on I-95 (I know, exciting), until I get to southwest CT.

It's not a pleasant forecast for CT http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/CT_cc_us.htmlSW CT's forecast will appear in the Fairfield County drop down. It might be worth a look at 81 as an alternative to 95. It's longer but so much better than 95. It's almost a given that 95 will offer up a parking lot somewhere along the route, so comparative trip times between the two routes are often fairly equal. Just a thought

They are calling for a rainy Friday in the D.C. area but Saturday is supposed to be sunny and low 70's.

thanks again...the gf is sounding like she wants to back out from going (and she wasn't even going to be on the back of the bike). Saying it's too far for too short a period of time. But I appreciate the aid!!
